Andy Nwaelele, Lead Advisory Team

Andy is an advisor to City Pursuit Chicago and is passionate about creating spaces where people can connect in earnest, values-centered ways.
Professionally, he has spent his career leading strategy, operations, and people-focused initiatives across consulting, technology, and mission-driven organizations. But some of the work closest to his heart has happened outside the office — through intentional relationships, nonprofit leadership, and using his skills to invest in the next generation or those in need through the local church.
Andy lights up when he can help people pursue wholeness in their relationships, spiritual formation, and personal growth. His own journey has included meaningful work around healing, identity, and spiritual formation — individually, with coaching, and in small groups.
As someone who hopes to one day build a devoted Christ-centered marriage and family of his own, Andy believes some of the best relationships are formed not through pressure or performance but through authentic conversation, shared experiences, and in the safety and support of genuine community. That’s part of what drew him to City Pursuit’s vision of helping Christians meet locally in relaxed group settings where connection can grow naturally and intentionally.
With his latest marathon behind him, Andy now spends his free time pursuing some combination of meals around a table, speakeasies, game nights, hybrid workouts, new experiences, personal development, and finding ways to improve his sleep score.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University. Above all, Andy seeks to put Jesus first, love on His Church, and help people lead fulfilling lives as he endeavors to live a purpose-driven life himself.
